On Saturday, May 4th, our ladder truck, Quint 120, joined Spencerport Fire District truck 2910 at the Monroe County Public Safety Training Facility - PSTF for a NYS Aerial Operator Class

West Webster Fire Department, May 05

Firefighters learned about utilizing aerial master streams (type of water nozzle) and tactical uses of the aerial device ( examples would include raising and lowering with a rope load ).

Side note 120 and 2910 are pretty much twin trucks. Both made by the same manufacture and specs.

Yesterday evening, 04-30-24, West Webster conducted a live fire drill using the training facility at Point Pleasant. 2 evolutions were conducted to practice fire behavior, readiness to setup, and completion of extinguishment. Thank you Penfield Voluntee

On 4-16-24 at approx 1838, West Webster responded for the reported building fire in the 1900 blk of Empire Blvd

125 was on scene in 3 minutes and found smoke showing from a commercial building. Crews made entry, found active fire on the first floor and a working fire was declared. A hose line was stretched and the fire brought under control.

West Webster sends out thoughts and prayers to the Syracuse Police Dept and Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office after a police officer and a deputy were both shot and killed last night.
