Rollover Accident on Expressway   April 8th, 2012

At approximately midnight on Sunday April 8th, West Webster responded for a report of an accident with a vehicle rolled over. Units arrived to find a single car off the road with one occupant. The vehicle appears to have rolled over several times and the occupant of the car was transported to the hospital for evaluation and the New York State Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

MVA with Person Trapped   February 7th, 2012

At approximately 7:10 in the morning  on February 7th West Webster fire and ambulance was dispatched for an MVA with possible injuries.  Responders arrived on scene to find a two vehicle accident involving a pick up truck and a four door sedan with the driver of the sedan trapped in the vehicle.  The patient was extricated from the car in about 25 minutes and two patients were transported to Rochester General Hospital.

On Sunday December 11th at approximately 9:00 am West Webster Fire and EMS was dispatched to  a two vehicle MVA with injuries at the corners of Scribner Rd and Middleton La.  When units arrived on scene they discovered four patients with one that needed to be extricated.  The fire department extricated the patient in approximately 30 minutes.  All four patients were evaluated with one sign off, two of them transported by West Webster ambulance and one transported by Rural/Metro Ambulance.  Monroe County Sherriff’s Department is investigating the accident.

Empire Blvd MVA People Trapped   December 1st, 2011

On Tuesday November 22, 2011 at 02:30, West Webster Fire and EMS along with Northeast Quadrant ALS were dispatched to the 2100 block of Empire Blvd for a report of a vehicle into a pole with multiple people trapped. MCSO units arrived on scene to confirm 2 people trapped, one of which had major entanglement. The first patient was removed within 5 minutes and transported ALS to the hospital. Due to the extent of entrapment of the driver, a Mercy Flight helicopter was requested to the scene. The patient was removed after approximately 45 minutes of extrication and transported to the Trauma Center at Strong Hospital by air, and was release with minor injuries a few hours later. Units assisted the MCSO with lighting for the next few hours.

Empire Blvd MVA People Trapped

Five Mile Line Rd/Ridge Rd MVA   November 8th, 2011

At approximately 7pm on November 3rd 2011 West Webster Fire and Ambulance responded for a motor vehicle accident involving two tow trucks and a third vehicle.  Three patients were evaluated and a second ambulance was started to the scene for transport.  Webster Police are currently investigating the accident.

Creek St/Plank Rd People Trapped MVA   October 20th, 2011

 

Wednesday October, 19th at approximately 12:10 pm West Webster was dispatched to a 2 car MVA at the corner of Creek St and Plank Rd.  129 arrived on scene to confirm a 2 car MVA with a person trapped.  The driver of the van was evaluated and signed off.  The gray car was hit by the van almost squarely on the B-post and his side of the car came to rest against a fence post.  Patient was placed in a KED, roof was removed, and extrication was completed in about 20 minutes.  The patient was transported to Strong with minor injuries. The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.

People Trapped MVA Creek/Plank

MVA on Rt 104   October 14th, 2011

At approximately 10:30 pm on Thursday October 13th West Webster responded for a hit and run accident with injuries on Route 104 at Bay Rd.  While working the first incident responders were made aware of another vehicle in the are that was flipped over with a possible person trapped.  The patient was extricated from the flipped vehicle after approximately 15 minutes and was treated for minor injuries.

Empire/Plank MVA Rollover   September 13th, 2011

At 3:18 pm Monday September 18th, West Webster Fire and EMS units were dispatched to the corner of Empire Blvd and Plank Rd for the reported motor vehicle accident with a vehicle rolled over. The assignment was quickly updated to a report of a person trapped. First in units reported a 3 vehicle accident and confirmed 1 person trapped. The vehicle was stabilized using struts and the roof was removed to extricate the driver. The driver was transported to the hospital for treatment and the cause is under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

Empire/Smith Rd MVA   September 13th, 2011

West Webster Fire and EMS units were dispatched for a radio alarm from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office for the reported roll over MVA at the corner of Empire Blvd and SmithRd at 07:45 hrsMonday September 12th. Units arrived on scene to find a vehicle rolled over an unknown number of times and sheered off a large utility pole, fire hydrant and street sign. The driver was quicklyremoved from the vehicle and transportedto the hospital with Advanced Life Support. The cause is under investigation.

Vehicle into building   September 13th, 2011

At approximately 3pm Saturday September 10th West Webster was dispatched for a vehicle into the Dunkin Donuts.  Responders arrived to find a vehicle on the curb with damage to the exterior of the building.  Upon further  investigation it was determined that there were no injuries and a female was evaluated at the scene.
