At approximately 3 pm on 7/22/11 multiple agencies responded for the report of a boat fire on Irondequoit Bay.

Crews arrived to find a 23’ cutty cabin ablaze.

Crews of marine 126 and 1216 extinguished the fire and the USCG Auxiliary towed it in.

Fire is under investigation.

On the afternoon of Saturday, June 25th, the fire department received a report of a kayak flipped over and a male in the water in Irondequoit Bay.

Fire department & U.S Coast Guard responded to the scene and rescued the man from the water.
