Injured Citizen in Woods February 28th, 2012
At approximately 1pm on Sunday February 26th West Webster Ambulance was dispatched for a female with an ankle injury off a trail located in the wooded area south of Pellett Rd and Lake Rd. While responding to the scene 1C32 requested ATV 1277 be started to assist in getting the patient out of the woods. The ATV was started from the firehouse at approximately 1:10pm and arrived on scene at Pellett Road at 1:20pm. 1C82 headed up operations in the woods and made contact with the patient at approximately 1:15pm. 1C32 took over command of the incident and was coordinating personel from the Pellett Rd side of the woods. The patient was loaded onto the ATV at 1:56pm and transported out to an awaiting ambulance and then transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Hurricane Irene Deployment August 30th, 2011
Two West Webster Firefighters were deployed through Monroe County downstate to assist in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene. Captain Mark Cholach (Monroe County Coordinator) and Firefighter Tim Kohlmeier (Rope Chief for the Eastern Monroe County Rope Rescue Team) were deployed along with other members from Monroe County that included the Rope Rescue Team as well as the 5th Battalion Water Rescue Team. The initial deployment was to Nassau County (Long Island) but they were later diverted to the town of Margaretville in Delaware County. During their time in Margaretville they performed one rescue of a woman who was in her house which was surrounded by water. Mark and Tim left Sunday morning and returned Monday night.

Hiking Trail Injury August 19th, 2011
At approximately 7:30 pm Thursday August 18th West Webster Fire and Ambulance responded for the male with a possible broken leg on the hiking trail behind the area of 475 Smith Rd. The trails are a part of Monroe County’s Abraham Lincoln Park.
Responders utilized ATV 1277 for the rescue due to the fact that the patient was off of the trails. The patient was transported to the hospital by West Webster’s ambulance crew.

Man With Seisures July 2nd, 2011
West Webster Fire & EMS responded to a call for a man with seizures on the morning of June 28.
The man was on the roof of a structure on Smith Road in Webster.
Fire Department rescued the man off the roof and transfered patient care to the ambulance waiting on the ground.
