Working House Fire on Chestnut Bend

At approximately 1:45 Saturday afternoon, West Webster was dispatched to Chestnut Bend for smoke from the house and an alarm going off. 1C32 arrived on scene to find heavy smoke from the house and declared a working fire. Crews forced entry and located a fire in the kitchen. A cat was successfully rescued from the home and taken to a local vet and was set to be released. Red Cross is assisting ... Working Fire on Old Barn Circle

At approximately 6 am a call was received by the 9-1-1 Center for a possible house on fire on Old Barn Circle in Penfield. West Webster Captain 1C52 arrived on location with smoke and fire showing from the "A" side of a 2 1/2 story house with one person waiting out front.
