July 27, 2018

Early in the afternoon West Webster Fire Department along with the Laurelton Fire Department was dispatched for a fire alarm at the Hill Haven Nursing Home. While units were responding there was an update from an employee on scene of a possible fire in the basement of the building. The assignment was upgraded which brought the Webster Fire Department to the scene as the RIC. West Webster and Laurelton firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and spent an extended amount of time on scene to ensure safe ventilation of the smoke from the building. There were no reported injuries and the damage was confined to the room of origin.

Ridge Culver E183 and Penfield Q370 provided fill in companies while units were on scene.
