As part of our ever expanding training regiment members from West Webster participated in a wildland search drill on tuesday night. The reason for the drill was to simulate some of the obstacles and hone our techniques for performing wildland searches. With hiking trails through parks like Abraham Lincoln, Lucien Morin, Webster Park as well as the Gosnell Big Woods Nature Preserve West Webster has found our calls for service in this element have increased. With that increase comes the need to train for what we may be exposed to as well as what are the best practices in the industry today.
