At approximately 1:45 Saturday afternoon, West Webster was dispatched to Chestnut Bend for smoke from the house and an alarm going off. 1C32 arrived on scene to find heavy smoke from the house and declared a working fire. Crews forced entry and located a fire in the kitchen. A cat was successfully rescued from the home and taken to a local vet and was set to be released. Red Cross is assisting the home owners.
Thank you to our HEROES for the great effort in saving ALL the family members! We are the organization that supplies the FIDO BAGS to our nations fire departments. We are humbled that you value our pets as we do. Marie at Fetch

I am so thankful to know that Webster FD will provide, to the best of their ability, care for "all" family members. (Referring to Chestnut Bend Fire near my home.) My cats and dog are my family and I would be devastated if their well being were not taken care of. Thank You Webster FD so very very much.
